Jim and I met our son David and his girlfriend Cassie at the Liberia airport, rented an SUV (for the first time in our lives - needed on these unpaved roads filled with potholes) and drove 2 1-2 hours to the Pacific coast to a remote, casual resort that still has dirt roads.  Our house is about 10 minutes from the resort near a Refuge - we hear the howling monkeys in the trees in the early morning making sounds like Godzilla.  We are so enjoying the slow pace.  It´s not crowded, no traffic.  The beach is the most amazing thing - wide expanse, sparsely populated.  We went to Playa Guiones which is one of the best beach in the world for surfing.  Waves are perfect and the water is warm - so no wet suits are needed.  Very natural.  David and Cassie took surfing lessons and  I filmed them.  I will post my videos on youtube/janetluongo3 and on Facebook under the school Innocent Surf School.
